Terms and Conditions of Donation
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern donations made to CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA. By making a donation through our website, bank transfer, or any other channel, you agree to the following:
1. Use of Donations
All donations are received by CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA, a nonprofit, child-focused organization. Funds are used to support our charitable programs, including education support, school feeding, health and sanitation, child protection, and community empowerment. While we make every effort to apply donations to the donor’s preferred program, CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA reserves the right to use contributions in the area of greatest need.
2. Donations Are Voluntary
All donations are made voluntarily. Donors confirm that they are legally able to make contributions and that the funds come from lawful sources.
3. Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. If a donation is made in error, please contact us immediately at info@childhopezm.org. Refunds may be issued only at the discretion of CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA and within a reasonable time frame.
4. Tax Deductibility
Donors are responsible for determining whether their donations are tax-deductible in their jurisdiction. CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA will provide receipts upon request but cannot guarantee tax deductibility outside Zambia.
5. Privacy of Donor Information
We value and protect the privacy of our donors. Personal information provided during the donation process will be used only for processing the donation, record-keeping, and communication regarding our programs. We will not sell, share, or disclose donor information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.
6. Acknowledgment of Donations
Donors will receive an acknowledgment of their donation by email. Large or recurring donations may be recognized in reports, newsletters, or public platforms with the donor’s consent.
7. Security
When making online donations, donors must ensure that they are using our official and secure platforms. CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA will not be liable for any loss caused by fraudulent websites or third-party platforms not affiliated with us.
8. Amendments
CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
